Holds a degree in Clinic Psychology and Counselling and Master degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies at Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies (ULHT). Have a PhD. in Health and Clinic Psychology at Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE-IUL). Auxiliary Professor at Psychology department of Manuel Teixeira Gomes University Institute, lecturing Research Methods I & II, Psychology of Attenttion, Perception and Memory, Introduction to Neuropsychology and General Psychology and coordinator of Psychological Assessment Laboratory at the same institute. It has participated in several research projects both national and internationally in the field of health and psychological sciences, mainly in neuropsychological assessment, construction and validation of assessment instruments with young people and adults, social phobia and social skills training with youths. It has a wide clinical practice carry out in hospital setting with empirically validated psychological interventions. It’s a certified Conflict and Familiar Mediator at Associação de Mediadores de Conflitos. Its main areas of intervention are the evaluation and intervention in autism spectrum disorders in wide-ranging and more specifically in young adults / adults.
