Post-graduate session with Drª Daniela Nascimento and Dr Bruno Santo
On the 17th, there was a new post-graduate session at Instituto Postuguês de PSicologia. This session was held at Oporto instalations and was handed by Drª Daniela Nascimento and Dr Bruno Santo, members of PIN team.
The course started with a general introduction held by Dr Nuno Lobo Antunes regarding developmental disorders fundamentals. Afterwords, we conceptualize behavior problems, myths and challenges on diagnosis and intervention on this kind of disorders. The session proceeded with a comprehensive modal on oposional and defiant behaviors and how to work closely with the children/adolescent, family and school. Finally, there was a practical session regarding new understandings on clinical cases and the implementation of intervention strategies.
